2nd June – Deal’s Official Jubilee Tea Party – I’ll be in period dress, mingling with the crowds, and sharing with them some of the tales I’ve picked up through reminiscence work with people who were there in 1952, and who were willing for me to share their memories with others in this way. I’m really looking forward to it! There will be film footage of the era, photographs, memorabilia, tea, cakes and sharing of memories. 2pm-4pm.
