23rd June- RNLI – Walmer Lifeboat Station – Family Day

23rd June- RNLI – Walmer Lifeboat Station – Family Day sessions for local and visiting families at the boathouse. Mermaids, pirates, salty sea dog stories, local and from farther afield – as well as beach safety information from our local volunteer education presenter (Wallace). Should be great – and if the weather’s foul, I’m told we can have the lifeboat out so the students can congregate inside the boathouse rather than on the apron outside!
